The Entertainment Rigger will be an important part to support the entire fulfillment process in ESME. That starts from participating in site visits, to creating in the design development, to setup and operate onsite but also to take care of the material we are working with every day. Responsibilities:

The key to our success is flexibility. We are a growing company and work in an industry with a seasonal cycle of events which means constantly changing focus and priorities. For this reason, beside fulfilling jobs onsite, you should be familiar with:

  • Originate, read, understand and execute temporary structure drawings
  • Climbing in large heights
  • Initiate operational procedures, methods and principles
  • Developing and implementing continuous process improvement
  • Maintain health and safety requirements by communicating company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in warehouses and onsite
  • Responsible for documentation and reporting
  • Preparation and maintenance of our equipment
  • Support in handling customer requests
  • Leading of freelancers

Skills and qualifications:

We are looking for a certified, trained & experienced entertainment rigger with minimum of 5 years in this or a related business and with the following skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of technical disciplines in Rigging (minimum SQQ2 Level 2 or Plasa NRC Level 3)
  • Additionally basic knowledge in Audio and/or Lighting
  • Excellent knowledge of the appropriate equipment and practices
  • Beneficial: Knowledge in automation systems like cyberhoist in motion/cybermotion
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (German or Arabic as second language beneficial)
  • Knowledge of a Warehouse Management Software and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of static behavior of temporary structures
  • Knowledge of CAD drawing software (ideal VectorWorks)
  • Team player, strong experience in team leadership, able to delegate tasks effectively and successfully motivate people
  • Process Improvement strategies
  • Work well under pressure
  • High-level understanding of HSE guidelines
  • Intercultural competence
