Business Development Manager (Dubai Based)

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development and Revenue

  • Develop and pursue new sales opportunities to meet or exceed individual and Company sales targets.
  • Work with the marketing team to plan and oversee new marketing initiatives to drive sales and revenue.
  • Proactively develop and lead the business development strategy for Saudi Arabia
  • Follow up on all inbound business enquiries to closure

Client Acquisition and Management:

  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business needs.
  • Engage new clients through networking, cold calls, business meetings, marketing activity and industry events.
  • Manage existing client relationship to develop a lifelong client
  • Draft business proposals and reports to present to potential clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction and sales potential.

Partnership and Alliance Building:

  • Forge strategic partnerships and alliances with companies and stakeholders to augment business growth.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements, ensuring all partnerships align with strategic Company goals and values.

Market Research and Strategy Development:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities, understand current market trends and report data to the Board and team.
  • Develop and implement a business development strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.

Feedback and Product Development:

  • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence.
  • Stay abreast of changes in the market and competitive landscape, advising the leadership team on trends.

Reporting and Performance Analysis:

  • Report on a regular basis to the CEO and team on business generation performance
  • Analyse business development and sales performance to identify areas for improvement and report findings and trends to the Board and team.

Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager will lead new business generation and work integrally with all departments, ensuring seamless integration of business development strategies with company-wide operational capabilities. The role will primarily lead efforts to identify new market opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth.

This role is a key driver in expanding the company’s market share and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company. The role will be measured through KPI’s shared by the Board, monitored informally monthly, and formally at the half year and annually

  • Lead new business generation and work integrally with all departments, ensuring seamless integration of business development strategies with company-wide operational capabilities, ensuring that all business development efforts are maximised to drive profitable deals to meet overall business objectives.
  • Regular reporting to the CEO on sales development, progress, budget status
