Senior Lighting Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Notify superior when major equipment repairs are needed.
Diagnose and resolve lighting system problems.
Install, adjust, and operate electronic equipment.
Control the lighting and effects equipment during events.
Perform minor repairs and routine cleaning of lighting equipment.
Monitor incoming and outgoing feeds to ensure quality and notify
directors of any possible problems.
Construct and position properties, sets, lighting equipment, and other
equipment

Requirements/Skills

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in electrical or electronics
5+ years’ experience as a Lighting Technician
Active Listening
English Speaking fluency
Coordination
Service Orientation
Social Perceptiveness
Operation Monitoring
Operation and configuration of lighting fixtures
DMX experience + troubleshooting
Operation of special effects equipment
Truss and other hardware assemblies
Strong electronic testing and database design capabilities
Strong understanding of electronic manufacturing processes
Strong focus on quality control
Proven innovative approach to electronic systems development

Languages

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
in English.
Arabic is an Advantage
