Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Finance

  • Set, manage and report to the leadership team annual marketing budget, strategically allocating funds to maximize impact and meet ES:ME goals, to include forecasting, and closely monitoring expenditures in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Craft and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with ES:ME vision,leveraging industry insights and market opportunities.
  • Stay informed about Middle Eastern and global market trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape to guide marketing strategies and the Leadership team.

Brand Management

  • Ensure that all internal and external communications adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent brand identity across all platforms and marketing materials. This includes overseeing the brand’s presence in digital and physical spaces, ensuring cohesive messaging and visual consistency.
  • Take full responsibility for all marketing collateral materials, ensuring they are in line with ES:ME brand standards and effectively communicate ES:ME value proposition to target audiences.
  • Spearhead ES:ME branding and presence at industry exhibitions, coordinating design, messaging, and logistics to maximize brand exposure and engagement within target market.

Marketing, Digital and Comms

  • Lead the creation of innovative marketing campaigns to effectively communicate ES:ME value proposition.
  • Direct all digital marketing efforts, including social media, SEO/SEM, and online advertising, to bolster our online presence and engagement. Use analytics to track marketing performance, leveraging insights to refine strategies and improve ROI.
  • Craft and disseminate press releases to highlight company milestones, product launches, and other newsworthy events, enhancing our visibility and reputation in the industry.
  • Actively seek and compete for awards within the region, showcasing our innovation and excellence, further elevating our brand’s status and credibility.
  • You will take the lead in researching, planning, organizing, and budgeting for participation in key industry events and exhibitions, ensuring ES:ME maximizes exposure and networking opportunities.
  • Actively maintain and strengthen communication with our current networks, including MEI, Coliseum, AV Alliance, and AGES. The role involves not only keeping these relationships robust but also exploring and evaluating new memberships and affiliations that could benefit ES:ME strategic positioning and industry influence. Utilize your industry network for PR opportunities and manage agency partnerships to enhance ES:ME brand visibility and impact

Leadership

  • Establish and lead a marketing department from scratch, nurturing a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Collaborates with Leadership team, project managers and clients to feature our ongoing projects from setup to conclusion on-site, showcasing our innovative services and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, brand management and communications
  • At least 5 years of marketing experience in the events engineering industry, with a proven track record in team leadership and brand development.
  • Extensive network within the events industry
  • Deep understanding of Middle Eastern market trends and consumer behaviours. Awareness of global trends
  • Expertise in digital marketing strategies, tools, and platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent command of English.
  • Proficiency in copywriting and a keen eye for design, ensuring marketing materials are both compelling and visually engaging.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and communications.
  • Outstanding analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Adeptly manage budgets, assess ROI, and make strategic financial decisions to ensure marketing efforts are cost-effective and aligned with the brand’s financial goals.
